This is the week of TEDGlobal! An official TED-conference, held over the course of four days in Oxford. TEDGlobal will explore the shocking undercurrent of good news just below the surface of today’s troubling headlines, says its curator Bruno Guisani.
Last year I attended TEDGlobal and I immediately fell in love with the beautiful city of Oxford and really enjoyed the British humor that added yet another layer to the TED-experience.
This year is different though. I decided not to to travel but to gather with the TEDxAmsterdam Crew + guests to watch the official live stream together. We’ll be hanging out all week at BoomChicago which usually is a place for stand-up-comedy and food and drinks.
Do you want to join us? There are still a few seats and fatboys available. Joining us is free, but we do ask a few euros to cover the costs of your coffee and snacks.
By the way: here is an excellent article about TEDGLobal, written by the Guardian. http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/2010/jul/04/ted-conference-oxford-carole-cadwalladr
